Career History
About me
I am enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable. I am looking for work which will allow me to broaden my experience and skill set as I study towards my degree in Graphic Communications. I have excellent communication skills and am fluent in Welsh, having been educated to the age of 16 in the Welsh language. I am approaching my final year at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I manage my own commercial pet portraiture website, blog and online portfolio, documenting my progress as a graphic designer. I have a full UK driving licence. I lead a healthy, active lifestyle and am constantly on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities to grow.
August 2018 - August 2019
Junior Designer - Welsh Rugby Union
I succeeded in gaining a competitive 12 month paid internship as a full-time junior designer with the WRU (Welsh Rugby Union) between my second and third years of study. I not only gained a huge amount of experience in design, but learned to work as part of a co-reliant team working at extremely fast pace to achieve time sensitive goals and output work to a professional quality. I represented the organisation on match days, and was on standby in case any relevant work was missing or in error in the hours leading up to a match.

University Course Representative
University course representative. This consists of extracurricular duties such as attending faculty student meetings, addressing issues raised by peers and ensuring all students are aware of upcoming matters. As a prerequisite to this position I had to build relationships with both students and staff and be seen as approachable yet responsible.
October 2014 – July 2016
Sales Representative - Grapetree Foods
I worked as part of a close-knit team and would regularly cover shifts for my colleagues at short notice. I also worked days independently, opening and closing, counting and banking,takings, and engaging with customers, of which we had many regulars I came to know on first name terms.
